MMIC Group promotes Penrod to vice president of IS

Minneapolis, MN (March 30, 2010) — MMIC Group recently announced the promotion of Deb Penrod to vice president of information services (IS).

Penrod joined MMIC in 1984 as an underwriting secretary. During her 10 years with MMIC’s Underwriting Department, she also held positions as underwriting assistant and executive secretary.

She moved into a PC support technician position in the IS Department in 1994. During her career in IS, she held the positions of LAN administrator, senior network systems engineer and network services manager. In 1999, she accepted a position in MMIC’s consulting division (MMIC Technology Solutions), where she was manager of IT consulting and customer service manager. Penrod was promoted to MMIC’s assistant vice president of IS in 2006, a role she has held until her recent promotion to vice president of IS.
